TALC

Talc, or talcum, is a clay mineral, composed of hydrated magnesium silicate. Talc is used in lubricants, leather dressings, toilet and dusting powders. It is also used as a filler in ceramics, paint, paper and roofing materials.

Iron Ore

Iron ores are rocks and minerals from which metallic iron can be economically extracted. The ores are usually rich in iron oxides and vary in color. Iron ore is the source of primary iron for the world’s iron and steel industries.

Copper Ore

The principal copper ore mineral is chalcopyrite, which is commonly smelted to yield copper. Most copper mined today is used to conduct electricity –  as wiring. It is also an excellent conductor of heat and is used in cooking utensils.

Aluminum Ore

Bauxite is best defined as an aluminum ore of varying degrees of purity in which aluminum in the form of aluminum hydroxide or aluminum oxide is the largest single constituent.
