Virgin polyester fiber is made from a non-renewable resource (oil) using an energy-intensive process. It is usually not biodegradable, and so will end up in a landfill for years unless recycled.
RECYCLED Polyester Fibers
Recycled polyester is made from recycled plastic bottles. It is a great way to divert plastic from our landfills. The production of recycled polyester requires far fewer resources than that of virgin fibers.
Raw Cotton
Raw cotton contains cotton fiber along with small plant parts and field trash that are not removed by the ginning process. It is suitable for making nonwovens to be used in industrial products.
